This unit is suitable with MAZDA3 2004-2009（Not suit: New Mazda3 2010）. It almost has all the main functions of car DVDs nowadays, such as built-in GPS, DVD playback, BT hansfree,, HD Digital Touchscreen, IPOD ready, original steering wheel control match(without CAN-BUS technology), RDS Receiver, USB Interface and 2 SD slots and backup camera input! QL-MZD501 adopts dual core chip with 128M hardware. This unit is worth its price with so many advanced functions.
The out-standing aspects of this product are that it has sub-woofer out which means that you can connect to external Sub-woofer equipments. Besides it has Bluetooth phonebook function by which when you make a call the DVD will also show the person’s name if you have saved it in your phone.
But there are four disadvantages of this product as the following:
The first is it doesn’t support the BOSE sound system. If you have BOSE in your car you need to ask a technician to do some modification for you or else there will be no sound.
The second is that it does not have CAN-BUS,so can’t work with Mazda 3 which has on-board trip computer. The small LCD screen will stop working. But don’t worry. You can see the time and radio rate on the DVD. So please be sure that you can accept this.

The third is that the CDC is available now, but it may affect the IPod function. So our players in stock are with IPod, no CDC.

Finally the only way to receive the TV signal is to add an external digital TV receiver.
