I have just raceved this unit to my Mazda 3 and have install it. But there is no sound. Everything else is function perfect. My Mazda 3 have Bose sound system, does that unit not funktion with Bose sound system??

How can I turn my subwoofers on?!?!

i bought this unit about two years ago, and have almost no problems with it. Sometimes its a bit slow. (only if navigate and listen mp3 from sd-card at same time).
Really is worth the money!! And has a good quality

Does anyone know the password for the setting, and wehre i can get a new firmwire?

I have used this product for almost 2 years now and I am willing to write a review of the reliability etc in the long term.

The unit does what it promises. I have put Navigon, Tomtom and IGO navigation software on the unit without any problems.

In the 2 years of having this unit I only had 2 or 3 freezes of the unit. They occur when I change the time on the unit. But after a reset of the unit everything is ok.

Other then those 3 freezes the unit worked like a charm. Movies, MP3's, music over Bleutooth and radio have been used allot with perfect sound quality.

I bought this unit thinking it would be glitchy and wont last for many years. But the unit has proven otherwise. Before this one I had a expensive Pioneer system in my previous car, but that one was freezing all the time.

I only have 3 problems without any solution yet (Please tell me if you know a solution).

1. When I am in navigation mode and I return to the radio or mp3 to change a song I can not open the navigation screen again. It runs in the background and gives me directions but I can not see the map any more.

2. I can not upload the contact list of my new Windows Phone any more to the unit (It was possible with my old blackberry though).

3. When I close the navigation mode the time on my unit is wrong (1 hour).

How do i get the passwords for the steering wheel setup and the setup that just says other?
Also how do i change my small screen with the trip computer to have my real time mpg?

Great unit with very limited instructions, like holding mute button will turn off screen, which is great when driving at night. I still have not figured out how to get the sub-woofer out to work. The unit looks like it came with the car, just wish sub-woofer out worked.

Purchased this a few weeks ago. Kinda sad to see that right after I purchased one the price dropped $50 :(. Overall its a very good unit and all my friends are quite jealous of it. It works well, though obviously has some odd quirks such as differing menus for different play modes, Bluetooth Mic doesn't work well enough to be used when the cars driving, stuff of that sort. My only question is how do I access my trip computer with this unit? I set the lcd to show my trip computer display before installing, however after powering the dvdunit off, it turned off the trip and switched it to the clock. How can I go back to the trip without having to plug in my old radio?

Im interested of buying this item but I have one question going on my mind...I have a VR3 rearview camera installed on my Mazda3..will it be possible to hook up my current rearview camera on this product? Any deals if I need to purchase the specific camera listed so that the rearview camera option will operate properly..thanks

What is the password for changing the settings? Also, how do you change the time on the LCD and the unit?

I decided to order this player even after I've read some bad reviews on it. As it offers 60-day returning if it's defected, so I wasn't worried. I believe it's been about 2 weeks since I've had the player. As we have a long new year trip, my wife watch it whole nights and it still works fine. Remote for power on has a little delay. I have to press it twice sometimes. Other than that it is good for your money. This will probably be the last "retail" DVD player I ever purchase. USB and SD card slot are made to run for long periods of times and wouldn't die out on you for many years to come. if you're really looking for a player to last you years. Honestly I do not expect this player to last for more than 2 years but I am expecting at least 1 full year out of it.
