|Qualir = Quality + Reliability|
I have had this head unit for the last six months, I waited to do a review as I read a lot of other users that had problem with other types of head units. To-date this unit has been a real pleasure, it has impressed some many people with the large screen. I don't play DVD, but I do stream with it and it tethers to my phone so my passenger can watch NetFlix on the road. Music sound better then my original Head Unit. It took me a 15 minutes to put the head unit in and another 30 minutes to put in the back up camera. Zero Problems to date.
This stereo does everything we needed it to do. I purchased as an easy way to add a backup camera to my truck so that my nearly licensed daughter would be less likely to back over anything important.
The install in took us a few hours mostly because of the backup camera and all the extra wiring for that. But, all worked perfect on the first go. For the most part each of the wires matched the color coding in the pickup. So it was as simple as un-tape the purple one, retie it to the new purple one. I didn't open the instructions at all.
Overall, I have to give this 4 stars as it does nearly everything it says it does and the price was so low.
This radio does everything and then some. The sound quality is very good; the integration of Bluetooth with cell phones works well. The maps are a little old, but can be upgraded. The most interesting part of this gps is the Android system yet it is not powerful enough: it is still the old version of 2.3 and can't support some new apps. In one sentence: it is a nice product in the price but not perfect enough.
